Data Policy

1. Your Catalog Data

You retain ownership of supplier files, product records, images, pricing, decisions, notes, and other catalog content you submit. We process this data to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service and to follow your publishing instructions.

2. Data We Store

The Service stores account information, uploaded spreadsheet and product content, mapped product data, proposed changes, review decisions, approved versions, generated outputs, activity records, configuration, and limited technical logs needed to operate the Service.

3. Storage and Protection

Service data is stored on cloud infrastructure. We use safeguards designed to protect data in transit and at rest, restrict access based on role and operational need, and maintain logs and version information needed for controlled catalog workflows. No system can guarantee absolute security.

4. Service Providers

We use service providers to operate the Service, including Clerk for authentication, Stripe for billing, Vercel for application hosting, and database and storage providers for catalog data and files. AI providers may process limited content when you use AI-assisted mapping, review, or generation features. Providers process data under their applicable terms and our service arrangements.

5. Retention

We retain catalog data while your account is active. After cancellation, catalogs remain available for 30 days for export. We may retain limited records longer where required by law, needed for security or fraud prevention, or preserved in routine backups until those backups are overwritten.

6. Export

You can export supported catalog outputs through the Service. For an account-level data export or help exporting before cancellation, contact support@productcatalogs.ai.

7. Deletion

You may request account and catalog deletion by contacting support@productcatalogs.ai. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, except for information that must be retained by law, for security, or temporarily in protected backups.

8. Backups and Recovery

Backups may be maintained for continuity and disaster recovery. Data deleted from active systems may remain in protected backups for a limited period until those backups are overwritten. Backup data is not used for ordinary product operations.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell catalog content. We share data only with service providers needed to operate requested features, when you direct an integration or publication, to protect the Service and its users, or when required by law.

10. Contact

Data questions, export requests, and deletion requests may be sent to support@productcatalogs.ai.
